Field Notes has been breathing new life into the tradition of the promotional memo books once distributed to American farmers over the last hundred years by seed, tractor, and other agricultural companies.

However these days instead of promotional booklets, Field Notes releases a series of new pocket friendly memo books every quarter, and over the ten years they have been producing these craft booklets they have come up with everything from uniquely themed editions favoring America's Natural Parks or The Elements, to actually creating a book made with water & tear resistant synthetic "paper".
