David Yurman Sterling Silver & Forged Carbon Money Clip

Originally crafted for the Spring/Summer 2017 season and inspired by Evan Yurman and is love of high-performance vehicles, the Forged Carbon Collection brings the craftsmanship David Yurman is known for and combines it with advanced materials found in supercars today. 

This collection is a more edgy and monochromatic take on the traditional David Yurman cable design, by incorporating a linear & likely cable inspired matrix within the Forged Carbon material itself & in this particular example it has been fused with Sterling Silver to form a unique money clip that is all about style and refined elements.

This piece features their unique Forged Carbon Material on both of the sliding tabs or “wings” that form the mechanism which is used to spring the clip open or lock it closed. Both sides also feature a very precise geometric Sterling Silver inlay that really makes the entire thing pop.

• Mechanism: Tension based; you simply slide the Forged Carbon tabs backwards and then push down to open. When you want to close, simply release and then push them to their forward position to “lock” them in place
• Rubberized “teeth” on the inside of the front to grip your cash/cards better than a bare metal there is no physical lock
